Day 1 - Arrival in Cairo

Day 2 - The Pyramids and Saqqara

After enjoying your breakfast, your guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to marvel at one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Pyramids. Walk or take a camel over to the enigmatic Sphinx half-man - half-lion who defends the Royal burials entrance. After, you will go for lunch at an authentic Egyptian restaurant and then head over to the Sakkara area to visit the Saqqara Complex and the first pyramid ever built, the Djoser Pyramid. Night at the hotel.

Day 3 - The Cairo Museum - Old Cairo - Luxor

Enjoy another delicious breakfast at your hotel then head over to visit the Egyptian Museum, in the heart of historic Downtown Cairo, overlooking the infamous Tahrir Square. After lunch, a Stroll through the Old Cairo district, to visit the Hanging Church, the old Cairo synagogue, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue; Finally, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the lively and bustling Khan El Khalili, the most famous souk in the Middle East. Transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor where our representative will meet you. Then you get a transfer to the hotel to spend the Night.

Day 4 - The Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut

After you delicious breakfast. Your Egyptologist guide will pick you up at the hotel, you will begin the discovery of Luxor’s West Bank, where the Valley of the Kings and the tombs of the mighty pharaohs lie amongst the desert landscapes of the Nile Valley. the next step will be the magnificent mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, then passing by the imposing Colossi of Memnon. Lunch in a local restaurant then return to the hotel.

Day 5 - Visit of the temple of Karnak - Embarkation

Breakfast at the hotel, then departure for the discovery of the largest religious complex in ancient Egypt, Karnak temple, where the god Amon Râ reigned supreme over the Egyptian pantheon for nearly 2000 years. Departure by minibus for Esna to begin your stay on your Dahabiya. Lunch on board, then sailing to the calm, relaxing rhythm of the wind. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 6 - Discovery of the temple of Edfu - Walk around Bassaw Island

Breakfast while sailing. Arrival in Edfu. Taking a carriage ride for 15 minutes to the entrance of one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. the Edfu Temple which temple was dedicated to the god Horus. Lunch and navigation in the afternoon. Arrival at Bassaw Island, we go for a (1h30min) walk on the island to visit a very beautiful Egyptian village and meet the locals. In the Evening, prepare for a lively bonfire dinner on the shore with the villagers. Overnight on board.

Day 7 - Gebel el Silsila plateau and the temple of Kom Ombo

Breakfast on board, then head to explore Gebel el Silsila and its largest sandstone quarry of the Pharaonic era.

You will discover many inscriptions, stelae and decorated tombs, then visit the small rock temple of Pharaoh Horemheb.

Return for another mouthwatering  lunch .

Sail to Kom Ombo.

Arriving in a perfect timing at Kom Ombo temple, you will almost be the only ones to enjoy the lovely temple dedicated to the two gods, Sobek the crocodile and Horus the falcon ,at the end of the visit you will pass by the museum of Crocodiles mummies founded in this city .

Back to the dahabeya to have dinner, then  navigation to Daraw.

Day 8 - Visit the popular Daraw Market

After breakfast, a change of scenery guaranteed at the Daraw market. You will stroll through this popular market where the Eastern and African colors and aromas are mixing like symphonies to the eyes and the nostrils to enjoy. Lunch in front of a beautiful sandy beach (Swimming in the sacred river is possible). Navigation to Aswan and stop just before the Aswan Bridge. Dinner and overnight on board.

Free morning in Aswan.

Visa:

Visa required for Europeen travelers .You can travel to Egypt with your passport or identity card
the easiest way is when you arrive in Egypt for about 25 euros. If traveling with an ID card and purchasing the visa on arrival, provide a photo ID. Our representative will be inside the airport to facilitate your visa upon arrival and will accompany you to your hotel.

Gratuities (Tipping)

This practice is rooted in tradition, and is done as part of an exchange in appreciation of a given work. At the end of a trip, it is customary to show your satisfaction by tipping the team of sailors and guide who accompanied you during your trip. The dahabeia boat was sooooo good safe and specially the crew hussien the house keeping and cheief hamada were perfect and hospitality was amazing 24/7 they are working on ur comfort and to enjoy the ... e experience the bahabia is so clean and tide and staff are always there but u can hardly notice there existing they gave u full privacy but on the same time they are there for ur comfort i felt like im home thank u all for such an amazing elite experience Mohamed Samar Hussien Hamada And the entire crew

Just pure spoilage and chill..unforgettable scenery and treatment. Between the coffee, tea and juices Hussein throws in every bit ..to the authentic delicious lunch and dinner by the chef .
