Terre D'Egypte Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel your trip before it starts (departure date), you should inform Terre d’Egypte and the insurer as soon as possible through any written means that provides a receipt of acknowledgement. The date the written notice is issued will be considered as the date of cancellation for the purpose of charging cancellation fees.
How to Submit a Cancellation Request to Terre D'Egypte:
Please send an email to infos@terdegypt.com, including your reservation number and the reason for cancellation.
Cancellation Fee Schedule for all Terre d’Egypte trips:
- More than 30 days before departure: a fee of 30% of the total price.
- Between 30 and 22 days before departure: a fee of 50% of the total price.
- Between 21 and 8 days before departure: a fee of 80% of the total price.
- Less than 8 days before departure or thereafter: the full price is due and no refund is possible.
If you cancel your trip after paying a deposit, the cancellation fees will be deducted from this deposit. If the cancellation fees exceed the amount of the deposit, you will be required to pay the difference to cover the full cancellation fees owed.
The cancellation fees will be subtracted from your initial payment, and the balance will be refunded via the same payment method used at the time of booking. This process can take 7 to 30 business days.
Cancellation by Certain Participants and Continuation of the Trip for Others (applicable to privatized and/or custom trips)
If one or more members of a group cancel their spot on a customized trip that is still maintained for the others, the canceling member(s) will have to pay the standard cancellation fees as well as all additional costs that Terre d’Egypte incurs to allow the rest of the group to travel at the agreed-upon price. The cost of a custom trip depends on the number of participants; thus, if someone withdraws, it can increase the cost for the remaining travelers. These additional costs must be borne by the person or persons who cancel.
