We went on a 5-day Nile cruise on the dahabiya from Luxor to Aswan last week and absolutely loved it! The boat had about 10 rooms and it was very nice to get to know all the participants during the ... e meals and excursions. We have booked our whole trip (2 weeks) with Terre d'Egypte - a big thanks to Cherine for all the help personalising it, incl. some days at the Red Sea and Cairo. When booking, we had asked for an English-speaking guide and we were super happy with Khaled who is very friendly, genuine, competent, efficient and funny! Since we were only 2 couples who booked an English-speaking guide, we had the luxury of being a very small group during the visits of the amazing archaeological sites and could ask as many questions as we wanted. The mixture of excursions (temples, villages etc.) was so varied and interesting (we recommend adding the additional excursions to Abu Simbel and the trip to the Nubian village as well) and in between there was enough time to relax on the boat and enjoy the scenery. The boat crew was fantastic (everyone loved Hüssein and the whole team) and the typical Egyptian food was great - we even ate the salads and fruits and had no issues. We really loved our trip, were so happy with our choice to book a dahabiya rather than a big cruise ship, and we were sad when the boat arrived in Aswan. Thanks again to Khaled and the crew!

The Luxor area visits and the cruise offered by Terre d'Egypte were absolutely fantastic. These are memories i will cherish my whole life. Khaled, our english-speaking guide, was truly amazing ... g. He gave us explanations about the sites, before leaving us time to wander around and take pictures. This was great, as we could both get the knowledge and understanding of what we were seeing, but at the same time, enjoy the freedom to go around on our own terms. He understands that these were our holidays and not a classroom. The amount of information was neither too less or too much, perfectly fit! And he was always ready and eager to answer additional questions. More than this, over the course of the 6 days, Khaled became a friend. The sites visited from Luxor to Abu Simbel were absolutely incredible and unique in the world. The dahabiya (sailing boat with ~20 passengers) was the perfect way to go up the Nile: quiet, peaceful. We really enjoyed the life and rythm on board. The food was really good (I need to go on a diet now) and the whole crew was lovely (Hussein was such a show maker, but the whole crew was amazing!!). The boat was really comfortable, and the suite is a nice addition, with a very romantic little balcony, hidden in the back. I wish we could have continued this cruise over and over! The cruise on the dahabya was a bliss. The crew is professional, friendly and fun. Everything is seamlessly organized. The food is delicious

The dahabeia boat was sooooo good safe and specially the crew hussien the house keeping and cheief hamada were perfect and hospitality was amazing 24/7 they are working on ur comfort and to enjoy the ... e experience the bahabia is so clean and tide and staff are always there but u can hardly notice there existing they gave u full privacy but on the same time they are there for ur comfort i felt like im home thank u all for such an amazing elite experience Mohamed Samar Hussien Hamada And the entire crew

Just pure spoilage and chill..unforgettable scenery and treatment. Between the coffee, tea and juices Hussein throws in every bit ..to the authentic delicious lunch and dinner by the chef . Or Samar ... r the amazing tour guide explaining everything patiently - mohamed the head of the trip spoiling us by exceptional rooms and ease of handling ...strongly recommend

We did the Cruise with Terre d'Égypte for our honeymoon. It was an amazing experience with extremely professional staff. Particular shoutout to the guide Ali. He was very knowledgeable and ... d passionate about his work.

Took the private Nile cruise with this Dahabiya for 3 nights in April from Aswan to Esna. Such a wonderful experience. The room and bathroom was clean and the bed was so comfortable. No need to turn ... n on the air-condition. It was so relaxed cruising over the Nile. Highly recommend to do Nile cruising with dahabiya especially if you can get say around 14 friends to join the cruise.
